WORKSHOPS
"Amy Gwilliam's sessions are brilliantly playful investigations of showing up. If you have something you burn to show to the world, to stand up for, to revel in, to share, to expose then Amy will help you make that show. And don't think show for the theatre, your show can be anywhere, your audience can be anyone." (A. Cooper)
Upcoming workshop:
WILD WOMEN DO: An Outdoor Clown Conclave for Women
Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September 2024
***Outdoor London location to be revealed closer to the time!***
Uniting three of my big passions - Women! Outdoors! Clown! - I invite you to join me on this weekend of radical female wonder and real-life clowning. Nestled in parkland - and sometimes on the streets - with the throng of life around us, we will gently, daringly and ludicrously unearth our fragile, fierce funny bones, and experiment with ways of sharing them with our audience, whoever they may be. To me this is the scariest, most humble and fantastically creative work we performers (we women!) can possibly do. And it will be my pleasure to hold this space, and dare to clown beyond walls with you.
“Amy Gwilliam is an incredibly inspiring teacher. She creates an environment that feels so open and playful. Her exercises allow each participant to give their creativity a full and fun workout. And to work to their own level of experience and skill. Just joyful.” (Suki Webster; Comedian & Writer)
"Come one and all, and be inspired by the queen of clowns. You will come out full of wonder & with a whole new perspective of the world with a renewed sense of energy (and maybe with a show or two under your belt?)" (P. Grandinetti; Clown & Actor)
“Crazy, connected, fun, vulnerable and warm, Amy reveals the unexpected in you.” (Balt)
“You have a special skill to tease character and comedy out of people and help make us shine. You very expertly lead us to discover and execute creative ideas with your nurturing manner.” (Scott)
